Gabriel Bianconi : Hello World!

I’m not sure, but I think this is the fifth “Hello World!” post on this domain. I registered it when I was 14 – to be exact, on March 19, 2008.

Back then, I used it to share tips about Flash and ActionScript. In fact, developing Flash games was my passion at that time. To my surprise, my games got much more popular than I’d expected. But I’ll leave that story for another post.

To make this story short, this website has gained a new shape every year or so. And now I’ve decided to reshape it once again.

Interestingly,  this process reflects my own changes. Why have a blog about Flash when I no longer develop Flash games? Similarly, the transformation it is undergoing right now marks a big change in my life. I’m about to move to college; I’m joining Stanford’s Class of 2017 this fall.

Maybe this blog has reached its maturity, but I can’t promise this will be the last “Hello World!” post on this domain. I’m better off telling what this blog will be about right now: what I think and do regarding entrepreneurship and technology, two of my biggest passions.

By the way, go Cardinal!
